Hailey Guerra is a multi-instrumentalist with a primary focus in clarinet. She finds excitement from playing in the pit for musical theater, and looks for any opportunity to double. Alongside playing, Hailey has experience teaching both young woodwind and brass players.
She is currently in her third year pursuing a B.M. in Clarinet Performance at Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music. She primarily studies with Professor Eli Eban, but additionally works with Howard Klug and Gábor Varga in pedagogy and chamber music settings.
She studied with multi-instrumentalist Wayne Leechford starting at the age of thirteen, continuing through high school.
She performs on the following:
Piccolo and Flute
Oboe and Bassoon
All Clarinets including auxiliary
All Saxophones
She has played many musicals such as The Drowsy Chaperone, Curtains, Reefer Madness, and Legally Blonde in the pit as a woodwind doubler. She can be seen playing a variety of instruments for new music premieres in the Jacobs School of Music, as well.
